God’s Judgment on Assyria
Isaiah 10
5 “Woe to the Assyrian, the rod of my anger, in whose hand is the club of my wrath!
6 I send him against a godless nation, I dispatch him against a people who anger me, to seize loot and snatch plunder, and to trample them down like mud in the streets.
7 But this is not what he intends, this is not what he has in mind; his purpose is to destroy, to put an end to many nations.
8 ’Are not my commanders all kings?’ he says.
9 ’Has not Kalno fared like Carchemish? Is not Hamath like Arpad, and Samaria like Damascus?
10 As my hand seized the kingdoms of the idols, kingdoms whose images excelled those of Jerusalem and Samaria —
11 shall I not deal with Jerusalem and her images as I dealt with Samaria and her idols?’”
12 When the Lord has finished all his work against Mount Zion and Jerusalem, he will say, “I will punish the king of Assyria for the willful pride of his heart and the haughty look in his eyes.
13 For he says: “’By the strength of my hand I have done this, and by my wisdom, because I have understanding. I removed the boundaries of nations, I plundered their treasures; like a mighty one I subdued their kings.
14 As one reaches into a nest, so my hand reached for the wealth of the nations; as people gather abandoned eggs, so I gathered all the countries; not one flapped a wing, or opened its mouth to chirp.’”
15 Does the ax raise itself above the person who swings it, or the saw boast against the one who uses it? As if a rod were to wield the person who lifts it up, or a club brandish the one who is not wood!
16 Therefore, the Lord, the LORD Almighty, will send a wasting disease upon his sturdy warriors; under his pomp a fire will be kindled like a blazing flame.
17 The Light of Israel will become a fire, their Holy One a flame; in a single day it will burn and consume his thorns and his briers.
18 The splendor of his forests and fertile fields it will completely destroy, as when a sick person wastes away.
19 And the remaining trees of his forests will be so few that a child could write them down.
The LORD’S Anger Against Israel
Isaiah 10
1 Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees,
2 to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless.
3 What will you do on the day of reckoning, when disaster comes from afar? To whom will you run for help? Where will you leave your riches?
4 Nothing will remain but to cringe among the captives or fall among the slain. Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, his hand is still upraised.
[WMSCOG] How to Give Love
First of all, i give thanks to Heavenly Father and “Heavenly Mother” for allowing me realization about God’s LOVE.
I once saw it on a TV about a puppy who lost its owner.
The puppy was wandering around the village hiding itself in secluded areas, away from the people.
For quite a while, the puppy couldn’t be washed and trimmed. So they first took it to the vet, did the checkups, and trimmed out all the dirty fur.
I felt sorry for the puppy that was afraid of the people and avoided them, though they were trying to help.
However, after a week it has been sent to a shelter, the puppy eventually started to open its heart.
How could it possibly open its heart when it couldn’t communicate with people?
There is a way to express love towards the puppy, putting it at ease.
Being with it always, embracing it tightly, lending a warm hand, and huddling to it while it was sleeping; all were the only way to express love towards the puppy who couldn’t speak.
Running away from people, and being stained with filth; those figures that it had, all disappeared. I was pleased seeing it following the person who was protecting it, and how clean and tidy it was.
Continually putting into actions by pulling out the burning love from one’s deepest heart, at last opens the heart of a person or even of an animal.
When the children were all stained with filthy sins, wandering here and there, and without knowing where to rely on, our Heavenly Father and “Heavenly Mother” had pity on these souls.
How painful would they have been seeing their children taking their two steps backwards, as they try to take a step forward to their children?
For the first time, when we eventually opened our hearts and as we are realizing Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother’s love, we come to know that Their burning love that they have shown for a long time is a series of painful days.
Tamed with the sinful habits, we only tried to avoid that warm hand, and we were scared of the glorious bright light since we have only been through the dreary dark places. For these children, They have always embraced us and helped us being by our sides.
Elohim God, I truly thank You.
Because She is our mother [WMSCOG]
Whenever people are weak, sick, and painful, they think about their mother. To think about her, they feel comfortable and better than before. The word, mother, seems to have the magic that makes the people cozy. “God the Mother” is same. Those who believes in “God the Mother” feel cozy and comfortable. Because She is our mother and She is God who gives them the eternal life!
For a while it seemed like the cold weather was over, but it was cold again.
Because of this genial weather, my second son constantly took off his coat for few days.
At last, he started to cough and had fever
I continuously told him to wear his coat, but he wouldn’t just listen.
After supper, I gave him some medicine and tucked him to bed early.
Our whole family happened to sleep early that day, and I also fell asleep being exhausted.
How much did I sleep?
I heard my child moaning silently in his room.
Instinctively, I got up and went for my child.
My child was calling me with high fever.
On the other hand, my eldest son in the other room was peacefully asleep.
Surely I am a heavy sleeper. I didn’t know how I heard that small sound, that very fainting voice…
I thought it was fortunate that I heard it.
As I laid a cold towel on his forehead, I was moved to tears.
“This is the reason why our Heavenly Mother came for us!”
Is there any other reason needed for our Mother to come to this world, other than for Her children dying in pain?
It is I, who always make mistakes, and it is our Mother, who bears all the costs.
However, She never leaves me but stays close by my side.
Since I am a person who would never wake up even when it thundered, I could surely realize Mother’s love through my second child.
Though I also had fever and had a flu, because I am a mother, I first worry about my child.
Because Heavenly Mother is with me, I believe I can overcome all kinds of illness that this world may give.
The Lord’s Anger Against Israel
Isaiah 9:8~21
8 The Lord has sent a message against Jacob; it will fall on Israel.
9 All the people will know it–Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria–who say with pride and arrogance of heart,
10 “The bricks have fallen down, but we will rebuild with dressed stone; the fig trees have been felled, but we will replace them with cedars.”
11 But the LORD has strengthened Rezin’s foes against them and has spurred their enemies on.
12 Arameans from the east and Philistines from the west have devoured Israel with open mouth. Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, his hand is still upraised.
13 But the people have not returned to him who struck them, nor have they sought the LORD Almighty.
14 So the LORD will cut off from Israel both head and tail, both palm branch and reed in a single day;
15 the elders and prominent men are the head, the prophets who teach lies are the tail.
16 Those who guide this people mislead them, and those who are guided are led astray.
17 Therefore the Lord will take no pleasure in the young men, nor will he pity the fatherless and widows, for everyone is ungodly and wicked, every mouth speaks vileness. Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, his hand is still upraised.
18 Surely wickedness burns like a fire; it consumes briers and thorns, it sets the forest thickets ablaze, so that it rolls upward in a column of smoke.
19 By the wrath of the LORD Almighty the land will be scorched and the people will be fuel for the fire; no one will spare his brother.
20 On the right they will devour, but still be hungry; on the left they will eat, but not be satisfied. Each will feed on the flesh of his own offspring:
21 Manasseh will feed on Ephraim, and Ephraim on Manasseh; together they will turn against Judah. Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, his hand is still upraised.
To Us a Child Is Born
1 Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the Gentiles, by the way of the sea, along the Jordan-
2 The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.
3 You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as men rejoice when dividing the plunder.
4 For as in the day of Midian’s defeat, you have shattered the yoke that burdens them, the bar across their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor.
5 Every warrior’s boot used in battle and every garment rolled in blood will be destined for burning, will be fuel for the fire.
6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.
Fear God
Isaiah 8:11 – 22
11 The LORD spoke to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people. He said:
12 ‘Do not call conspiracy everything that these people call conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it.
13 The LORD Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread,
14 and he will be a sanctuary; but for both houses of Israel he will be a stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare.
15 Many of them will stumble; they will fall and be broken, they will be snared and captured.’
16 Bind up the testimony and seal up the law among my disciples.
17 I will wait for the LORD, who is hiding his face from the house of Jacob. I will put my trust in him.
18 Here am I, and the children the LORD has given me. We are signs and symbols in Israel from the LORD Almighty, who dwells on Mount Zion.
19 When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?
20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.
21 Distressed and hungry, they will roam through the land; when they are famished, they will become enraged and, looking upward, will curse their king and their God.
22 Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness.
[God the Mother] A choice for the moment, and a choice for eternity
When we look at the lives of our forefathers in faith – from Moses, Abraham, Noah, Adam, and Eve to Jesus’ disciples such as Peter, John, and James, they all lived their lives by choice. It is same with our lives. Every second, every minute, we stand at the crossroads of life, making choices. Through the teachings of the Bible, let us now think about whether or not we are living an upright life by making the right choices.
The wrong choice of Judas Iscariot
At every moment in our lives we have a choice. If we make a wrong choice at that moment, we will fall into an irrevocable path. Among Jesus’ twelve disciples there was just one person who had made the wrong choice.
Mt 26:14-16 Then one of the Twelve – the one called Judas Iscariot – went to the chief priests and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty silver coins. From then on Judas watched for an opportuity to hand him over.
How glorious it is to be a disciple of Jesus! Judas Iscariot was taught directly by Jesus; he learned and accepted what Jesus said and did, as one of Jesus’ closest followers. Nevertheless, he loved money more than Jesus. Finally he made the wrong choice, and later on he realized what he had done was rong. However, he did not repent; e only regretted. As a result, he died a miserable death.
Once a time make a choice passes by, we cannot turn it back. In the parable of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16, when the rich man died and went to hell, he regretted in torment, but he could not reverse time.
When Jesus was hung on the cross, there were two robbers crucified on either side of Him. Let us find out what choices they made at the crucial moment, through the following scene from the Bible.Lk 23:39-43 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Christ? Save yourself and us!” But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this mand has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”
In regard to these two robbers, Father said that the robber on Jesus’ left side was the person who thought about the moment, and that the robber on His right side was the one who thought about eternity. The robber on Jesus’ left side expected that if he accommodated himslef to the opinion of the crowd, they might spare his life. So, he insulted and slandered Jesus, saying “If you are the Christ, save yourself and us!” like the other people did.
While the robber on Jesus’ left side only thought about the moment, the robber on His right side looked forward to eternity. So he repented of his sins and begged Jesus to save him. Since he chose eternity, he received the blessings of heaven through Jesus’ words, “Today you wil be with me in paradise.”
2 Co 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
What is seen is temporary. Since we have chosen what is unseen and eternal, we are now striving to live in obedience to Elohim God’s word. If we chose the moment, we would keep Sunday and Christmas, which are universally accepted among people in the world. However, what we have chosen is Elohim God’s word that is written for eternity. that is why we obey and follow God’s commandments instead of men’s rules and believe that there exists God the Mother as well as God the Father, just as the Bible teaches us.
Those who believe and are saved has something in common: They have chosen eternity without clinging to the things that only last for a short time and then vanish. Even though a man holds a high position or rank on this earth, his life is finite – it does not last long. However, the things of heaven are eternal – they last forever and ever. I want you all to make the wise choice to live for eternity, instead of foolish choice to live for the moment. The Sign of Immanuel
Isaiah 7
1 When Ahaz son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, was king of Judah, King Rezin of Aram and Pekah son of Remaliah5 king of Israel marched up to fight against Jerusalem, but they could not overpower it.
[christ Ahnsahnghong]Regarding the instance that He cannot die again
The Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong is the Almighty God who came down to this earth according to all the evidences and prophecies of the Bible and brought us back all lost truths of life. Therefore, we, the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) believe the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong and obediently follow what He said.
Regarding the instance that He cannot die again
Those who deny the Second Coming Christ, Ahnsahnghong, of the World Mission Society Church of God claim as follows:
The Bible says that “Christ cannot die again.” But Ahnsahnghong passed away. Therefore, He is not the Second Coming Christ.
However, they insist such a claim because they could not understand the matter of a spiritual body and a natural boy properly and interpreted the Bible wrongly.
If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection…. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. (Romans 6:5-9)
This Verse means that those who are baptized will receive eternal life which does not die as Christ died and was raised from the dead. Of course, it does not mean that a natural body will live forever. They will live forever without death as God’s children with spiritual bodies.
…and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God’s children, since they are children of the resurrection. (Luke 20:36)
So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body [physical body], it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body [physical body], there is also a spiritual body. (1 Corinthians 15:42-44)
The resurrection means that the natural body will be changed into a spiritual body to live for good. Just as a caterpillar is clothed with a new body of a dragonfly, so one who receives God will be changed to a new body which can live forever according to the promise of God.
I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood [what is made of flesh and blood] cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed– in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable [what is mortal] must clothe itself with the imperishable [what is immortal], and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” (1 Corinthians 15:51-54)
Flesh and blood – visible bodies – cannot inherit the kingdom of God. It’s because we with bodies cannot enter the kingdom of heaven which is the kingdom of the Spiritual God. Therefore, the words “He cannot die again” are not about the natural body but the spiritual body.
Jesus, who had been in a spiritual body, has come a second time in the flesh as He did 2,000 years ago to bring salvation to mankind (Hebrews 9:28.) Those who truly understand and follow the will of God should at least know that the natural body is one thing and the spiritual body is totally another thing.
